Solid crime drama. Both authors do a tremendous job creating great visuals. Michael Toro's experience in law enforcement clearly adds to the believability of this story. Brilliant to have a hero be an American muslim hero who fights against terrorists. Kudos to Toro and Morris for doing their homework on this. I look forward to the next installment with Detective Hakam.Product details

The Lion of Justice is a fast paced and entertaining book. Not only is it fun to read but at the same time it is educational and informative. I can't wait to see what happens in the second book. A definite read.
This book is a great read. It is fast and contains a lot of action. The story is easy to follow and provides a great deal of information about San Francisco. I look forward to the next edition to see what happend to San Francisco and where the next strike will be.
From the genre popularized by the likes of James Patterson and Clive Cussler we have a new leader.
This book is a phenomenal must read that I found hard to put down. The Lion of Justice is exciting, informative, enjoyable, and dangerously addictive.
I highly recommend this book. It is an instant thriller and soon to become a classic.
Really enjoyed reading this - parts of it were definitely 'can't put it down'. The idea and story line are obviously very current and all so that makes it a fun read - but beyond that, having visited San Francisco quite a lot, it was really fun 'seeing' where it all happens (and they did a good job keeping it true the City's layout and all). So if you want a great / fun book and also enjoy San Francisco, I'd recommend it.
It will be interesting to see what others might say about this book.
It's an interesting premise but requires belief that the american people are so easily led.
A very interesting and scary book given the rise of ISIS (or whatever acronym they are going by today). Well written and developed by a wonderful friend who recently lost his fight with cancer. Rest in peace Don!
I loved the fact that this thriller takes place in my own back yard. These two authors write beautifully and know their stuff- very accurate. It is an interesting read - fictional as it might be, it really makes you think! It only took me 8 days to read the book! Can't wait for the next installment. Thanks Don- great read.
